The setting is London, 2038. The city is in ruins, but remains unmistakable. Rubble litters the streets and the buildings that once stood proud in the skyline are now vacant, shadowed hulks burning with eternal hellfire. What's left of the once-great city now serves as the arena for the great battles that pit the human resistance against their demonic enemy. From the Temple Church on the banks of the Thames to abandoned and secured Underground stations, this international metropolis is now ground zero in the fight to save humanity.

Locations:

• The City:

• London, as it was, is no more. Now, the once great city lies in ruins. A massive, sinister gash in the fabric of our reality swirls and churns, dominating the horizon as it blends into a permanently darkened sky.

• The Tubes:

• The miles of track and supporting infrastructure that makes up the London Underground Transport system has survived the demonic Invasion fairly well.

• Underneath London:

• In addition to the Underground tubes, London is crisscrossed with an endless array of other subterranean tunnels.

• Underground Stations:

• The first section of the London Underground was opened on January 10th, 1863. It was built from then on in great part by the Freemasons.

Classes:

• Templar:

• These are the followers of the ancient rites and rituals of the Knights Templar whose writings and disciplines foresaw the demonic invasion centuries ago.
• Since the Dark Ages their order has been prepared for this apocalypse, training in the ways of holy magic and organizing their followers for the eventual war against the forces of Hell.

• Cabalist:

• Delvers of arcane knowledge, students of the dark arts, and explorers on the fringes of science, Cabalists use the powers of the demons against them.
• Cabalists are spell-casters, and more specifically, summoners and controllers of demons and the primal forces of the netherworld.
• They seek to study and dissect the essence of the demons to achieve the next evolution of mankind.

Mods:

• Ammo Clips:

• Ammo Clips modify the type of damage or accuracy a ranged weapon does by providing new types of ammunition.
• Clips carry rounds whose damage types can be technological or magical in nature.
• Their ability to derive effects from any of the damage classes makes the Clip Mod highly versatile.

• Battery Packs:

• Battery Packs are the general term used to describe Mods that typically impart different types of damage to a specific classification of item.
• Various energies stemming from the realms of technology and the arcane are used to charge these Mods, ranging from poison to cold to fire to concussive (or physical) damage types.

• Fuel Tanks:

• Fuel Tanks are the label used for Mods that convey different damage types to weapons.
• Whether using standard technology, alchemical formulae, or a combination of both, these Mods can cause effects within any of the damage types.

• Relics:

• Relics are ancient objects that contain powerful magical properties.
• Often considered holy in origin, these are commonly fragments of some greater item whose purpose is lost to antiquity, or even something that came in contact with a person of great ability.
• The Templar have found ways to bond these relics to their weapons, making them particularly potent against the forces of darkness.

• Rockets:

• Like Ammo Clips, Rockets modify the type of damage or accuracy a ranged weapon does by providing new types of ammunition.
• Designed for use in heavy weapons, these are rounds whose damage types can be technological or magical in nature.
• Their ability to derive effects from any of the damage classes give these Mods a high value when fighting the biggest of demons.
